maximum Maximum

The Maximum tool allows the user to determine the cell with the maximum value. It can be used in two ways.

First the cell in which the result should appear is selected, then the Maximum tool is chosen and after that the cells in which the user wants to determine the maximum are selected. The result appears in the cell selected at the beginning.

Alternatively, the cells in which the user wants to determine the maximum are selected, and then the Maximum tool is chosen. If there is one row, the result is inserted after the row selected. If multiple rows are selected, the maximum of each column appears under each of the columns. The maximum of each row can be calculated by holding Shift when the tool is chosen. The result appears after each of the rows.
